Order Pro Deo Et Universitate
The Order Pro Deo et Universitate recognizes faculty and staff for 10 and 20 years of service at The 51做厙.
History of the Order
In June 1961 the Very Reverend John J. Long, S.J., President, formally created and established at The 51做厙 the Order Pro Deo et Universitate for vicennial service, and at the annual Commencement of the same year conferred this distinction upon thirteen venerable members of the University Faculty, the Charter Members of this Order.

Employees who reach 10 years of service are recognized with:
- A University crest 10 year pin
- A certificate of recognition
20 Years of Service
Employees who reach 20 years of service are recognized with:
- A University crest 20 year pin
- A certificate of recognition
- A University crest medal
- Inclusion on a commemorative plaque displayed in The Pro Deo Room - 1st floor of The Weinberg Memorial Library
